MISSION
The School of Social Justice (SSJ) mission is to promote academic excellence while empowering students to seek higher education and become community leaders. SSJ’s implementation of a rigorous social justice and standards-based instructional program fosters the development of core leadership skills, such as critical thinking , effective communication, and equitable problem solving, all of which contribute to success in post-secondary education or future employment. All SSJ stakeholders support intellectual growth and character building by maintaining a positive learning environment ensuring continued progress in student accountability, collaboration, and community/self-advocacy.
