Mrs. JOY APOSTOL
Hello! I am Mrs. Joy Apostol. I am your student's teacher in Honors Chemistry, Honors Chemistry and AVID.
I am proud to welcome you all to my 25th year of teaching! What a joy and a privilege to be sharing this experience with all of you! I started my teaching career as a high school chemistry teacher at a private Catholic school for two years. I moved on teaching college chemistry at the renowned Philippine Normal University where I spent nine professional years preparing pre-service teachers, and in-service teachers. With an opportunity to spread my wealth of teaching knowledge and loving kids, I took the offer to immigrate to the United States, and teach middle school science at the Palm Beach County Schools District. This is now my tenth year with LAUSD, my and my sixth year with School of Social Justice @ LMHS, a small pilot school I helped design.
As a proud Marian, Filipino, wife and mom, it is my pride and joy to welcome you all!!!
