Mission

The Special Education Department at SSJ is dedicated to providing students with quality education. The core purpose is to provide specifically designed instruction and intervention, as well as to give students with disabilities access to the same educational programs and/or activities that are available to their peers.

Programs

Resource Specialist (RSP): The program is designed to give support to students with mild to moderate disabilities, and to give them strategies that will help them be successful in their general education courses and prepare them for college and career readiness.

Intellectual Disability Moderate (IDM): The program is designed to provide students with academic instruction, employment readiness, and social skills instruction to be prepared for independent living and employment.
